"Before we had gotten there I had thought I paid the full amount including accidental fees. When I arrived there I had to pay an additional 200+ dollars for any damage done in the room and accidental fees. To then find out that valet parking is taking out of that charge. It was not enough communication. Room service came on our last day, sheets were not changed. I received wash clothes that had black spots on them. In order to go to the pool you have to reserve a spot. I was really shocked for this to be Hyatt Place, this is normally a 4.5 star hotel. I wasn’t able to get the original room I paid for , but the staff was nice about that. "

"Incredible location and harbor views. Big room. Would have liked a regular duvet but it was a thinner one. Very friendly staff. I parked in a big parking garage called Harbor 5. I thought it was going to be payed for by the hotel but it wasn’t. $35 per 24 hours. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Check out was 12 noon which I liked. I would come back. "

"Positives: The staff was friendly, and breakfast was great. However, the rooms had a very musty smell and felt very damp. The shower also had a ring in the bottom to where it didn't appear clean, and the drain was backed up so water pooled around my feet. Right outside our hotel room there was a stack of old pizza boxes that was there nearly our whole stay. The stairway also smelt AWFUL. "

"I think the only thing the property has going against it is the thinness of the walls and doors. I could hear conversations through the walls as well as other guests TVs all night. for heavy sleepers or people who might not mind. this hotel is absolutely gorgeous and worth the stay! and the staff was incredible! but the building itself needs some TLC in order to be a place id want to return to. being so susceptible to other guest’s noise is a quality of a hotel that matters to me. also unrelated but the bed creaked and was not the most amazing bed. but thats me being super picky. i dont regret my stay here but i do not think i will be back. huge thanks to all the staff for being SO sweet and kind."

"Clean room, great staff, amazing room and view. Only issue was with the location being 20-25 mins away from city and the bar who over charged $125 for 4 shots of whiskey and 1 Espresso Martini. She did try to make the bill for 25 mins and finally charged $125. I dont know in what world they would charge this much for. I purchase the same black label 750ml bottle for $48 and 4 shots of 30ml costed me approx $100 makes no sense at all."

"The building is a nice example of 1930s style and architecture, but it shows serious signs of wear and tear in the hallways and in the rooms. The rooms are modest at best. The "fitness center" is basically none existent, the staff isn't very knowledgeable of the local area, I waited for 20mins at valet to drop off my vehicle when I arrived, the breakfast buffet was cancelled some time ago, but they still advertise it as an offering... needless to say it is very overpriced for what they're actually offering. "
