Very easy access from the Metro. Staff gave us perfect metro directions to the correct stop. Very easy check in and staff very kind and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed and safe building. Only negative was no AC available in October due to government laws. The window was locked so it was very warm. I would recommend this location.
Great atmosphere of the place. Staff was super nice and accommodating. I especially loved the hot shower, great fresh breakfast, and bath slippers offered. I looked forward to coming back to a nice clean room. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sotgiu. Cristina and Elena were amazing and really helpful and welcoming. Nice, clean and cozy place as well. Best part was the living room that was filled with great books and lots of helpful information about the city and how to plan your stay in Rome. Would love to stay here again.
Great central location. Very secure building, lovely facilities, staff very welcome and went out of their way for us. Walkable to Metro station and Vatican and cental.Rome. Great breakfast, highly recommend this place to stay. Thans you to Christina and Elena.
The host was helpful with recommendations for dining and transportation. The room was charming and very comfortable. The location was wonderful. The breakfast was great and we were left a tray in our room because we were checking out very early. I would highly recommend staying there.
Cristina was an absolutely wonderful. Sent us great tips on shopping, food options and getting around. Always ready to help and was communicating with us prior to arrival up to arrival so all went smoothly. Very intimate quaint hotel.
We totally loved this place! A bit of a retro look to it. Lovely room (temperature was kept cool). Very romantic. Highly recommend

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
staff nice, clean but room and bathroom little bit old.overall OK . I used 3 different places to sleep during my 10 day stay in Rome and they are all similar, little bit outdated...
Overall a very nice stay with a beautiful room, and dining area! A few things that were of concern were:
The entry and elevator to 4th floor were not clearly marked and the representative didn’t meet us in lobby to greet us and get us to the location. After carrying our luggage around lobby and several text messages to representative requesting directions, I had to ask for him to come down to lobby to greet us and help us get to the unmarked elevator area.
Also, we had a difficult time taking advantage of the breakfast because of the late window: 8:30-11:30 am. Many days, we had morning tours at 9:00. On New Year’s Day, no one showed up to serve breakfast until quite late and there was no prior notice of a delay. We went out to get breakfast at 9:00 and came back to find late breakfast service at the bed and breakfast.
The facility was very clean overall and beautifully decorated. The continental breakfast and coffee was delicious. Altogether, I would recommend this bed and breakfast.
The best part of our experience and stay is having the property manager Cristina being there for us every step of the way from the time we booked until we checked out. She’s a kind, polite and professional lady and we appreciate her very very much!

Cozy spot in Roma
Elena was SO kind and helpful and gave us wonderful recs when got there! It was our first place we stayed in Italy and she was helpful making us feel settled. Location is a bit of a walk from the city center but if you’re fine with that like we were then it’s perfect for you!
I really recommend. Amazing breakfast and the room you very comfortable

For the price, I did not feel this hotel was worth it. The cushions on the bed were old and stained, the overall amenities also did not justify the price. I think there are better places to stay in the area, which is an amazing neighborhood btw.
They arranged a driver to pick us up at cruise ship and to take us to airport. As our flight was early Christina left us a basket of croissants etc for us
Good location, helpful staff. Some confusion in the check in/arrival process as there’s not an official front desk at all times but we worked it all out. A/C wasn’t working, reported it upon arrival and it wasn’t until next day that they came to fix it. Cristina and staff were nice and helpful making sure my stay was good.
Great hotel, at a good price! One issue is that it is REALLY hard to unlock the door.
Like I spent 30 minutes trying to unlock the front door. Another couple came along and they spent 10 minutes trying to unlock it.
I never thought I would mention something like this in a review but it was seriously so annoying that I would say you don’t have unfettered access to the hotel
