"This was a family trip and the first thing we walked into was the overpowering smell of marijuana. We immediately opened the screen door and tried to air out the place. There’s nobody onsite to check in with so what are you supposed to do. We left for a few hours leaving the air on hoping it would help. We returned a few hours later it had made a little bit of a difference. It took awhile and we had to leave the extremely noisy air on. Then we got to hear all the walking around and moving coming...

And Sunday breakfast with her definitely needs to be experienced; an amazing quantity of delicious foods that took up the entire table top! We'll be visiting again soon!"

"Good location, walkable but up on a hill so if you're interested in walking right to the beach, it's a haul. Many shops and restaurants around. We slept well, comfy rooms."

"Not enough info on the hotel. Had hard time finding the place because confusion whether it is Rodeway Inn or Hotel Avenida. The description of being a boutique hotel is deception. Old run down hotel, no lobby, parking is terrible, room is dingy. "

"The staff is what made my stay more pleasant. Everyone I encountered was happy, friendly and helpful. There was even an incident in the breakfast room where 2 guests were being quite distruptive and rude to the food clerks for things not being fast enough and the clerks were still very dignified and quick to assist them. They did a great job in managing the demanding guests while still staying pleasant and present. I appreciate all their efforts to keep the hotel running smoothly, it was a nice...

"Occasional bugs would show up in the unit. No weatherstripping on the bottom of the entrance door so there’s about a quarter inch opening at the bottom so nothing stopping the bugs from outside from coming in. Unit is very basic, bed was comfortable."
