"Wonderful old fashioned experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't stay here if you like everything to be shiny and new, because it isn't. Great atmosphere, a little eccentric but all the better for it. I'll be sad when it's gone. Really enjoyed dinner, food was excellent. "

"The Colombier is a lovely old hotel with a very welcoming pool-on a hot day. Very refreshing after a long day. The room was clean and tidy, if a little tired. The evening meal was excellent ,both in choice and food. We were entertained by the local bat roost turning out for their nightly foray . Breakfast was also enjoyable."
