"Love love love this hotel. This was our second time staying here, and they've had some major updates since our last stay. "I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC.
The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

"It was a mostly clean room. My only complaint was the floors were not swept or cleaned, but I did not complain and ask them to come sweep, which I am sure they would have. I killed at least 10 flies, but the cleaners usually leave the door open while cleaning them. "
"As always, the staff were personable and friendly, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, the rooms were clean and perfect. They brought hot coffee to my door in the morning and even served breakfast to us 30 minutes early to accommodate our schedule "
"Three Trails was so cute. I loved the exposed brick walls, wooden floors and the wood beam ceilings. The beds were very comfortable! I would recommend so WD40 on the doors, they were very loud and squeaky if you had to get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom. The apartment kitchen is very well stocked. We loved finishing the evenings on the rooftop patio. The parking was very easy and everything is walkable in downtown Elkin, we didnt have to drive anywhere, the vine line picked us up...
