"We booked this hotel and saw some of the reviews and were really anxious about what it was going to be like BUT and a big BUT we could not fault the stay whatsoever. Spa area was impressive with lots to offer well kept and clean. We had breakfast and the food was spot on. Staff were all super friendly and polite. The mini fridge was broken but still fully stocked with a vast array of drinks. Honestly you will not be disappointed if you go. I read the pool was could etc and for us it was beautifully warm maybe the other guests came when something was broken who knows but the place is amazing ❤️"

"Great place to stay with a warm welcome. Rob and Jan are very friendly hosts, made us feel at home. A short walk into Todmorden and had a lovely day. Had a great sleep in a very comfy bed. "We stayed at this beautiful cottage last weekend and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning, set in a fantastic location with truly amazing views. We loved the peace and quiet, and it was the perfect place to switch off and unwind. One thing that really stood out for us was just how comfortable the beds were. As the owner of four furniture shops in Kent, I really appreciated the quality of the mattresses — they were exceptional. If we’re ever heading up that way again, we won’t hesitate to book here again. 100% recommended. "
