"The location is steps away from Playhouse Square. That's the only good thing about this hotel. The staff are unfriendly and lazy. The entire time, from check-in to check-out, we felt like we were inconveniencing them. Not even a smile or a friendly greeting the entire time we were there. The lady that worked the breakfast place started removing food 15 minutes before breakfast ended. She didn't want to replace any of the food that was emptied out by a hockey team that came in just before us. Lazy and useless. The entire hotel stinks of marijuana. Everywhere we went it stunk. Don't be cheap. Spend the extra $60 and stay at a proper hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again. "

"The Hotel Cleveland met our needs, as our work was very close by. However, I would not choose to stay there again. An older hotel, though elegant is not particularly comfortable. They were short of staff, so often our room was not cleaned, despite multiple requests. Though likely out of the influence of hotel, there were several aggressive panhandlers who had to be negotiated when entering and leaving the building. "

"A clean bathroom was a plus. I am very particular about that. We were on the first floor, and it was loud. Excellent breakfast and happy-hour snacks were a nice treat. Rates were excellent, except for parking, which was ridiculous! "
