"We booked this hotel after our original hotel on the Grand Canal cancelled our reservation. This hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the grand canal, close to the water bus and about a 20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The walk was pleasant as many people are walking in the direction and we never feel unsafe. We are a family of 4 and were placed in a nearby building that has an apartment belonging to the hotel. "Albergo San Marco was conveniently located close to San Marco with easy access to most locations within Venice. The room was spacious with minimal stairs on each level and a small elevator to access each level. Breakfast was good with extended hours which was nice when jetlegged! Highly recommend. "
