"The only negative item to state was that the postcode via google did not bring us close to the property. I walked along the road for a few hundred metres, reading the various house signs before finding the property on a dark, unlit road. I just think some sort of indication should have been given as to the precise location. Apart from that, everything was 5 star."

"Convenient after getting off a long flight; organised staff provided a quick check in when we arrived. This is a large hotel which meant we had a long walk down corridors with heavy bags - no offer to assist or provision of a luggage cart. Ordered a panini from room service - the worst I have ever seen - dried bread with a bit of melted cheese and ham - virtually inedible so give it a miss. "The bed and bed linens were perfect! The lighting was not good at all plus, the space was very limited, and the only place to sit was on the bed! If I were to book another hotel with a shuttle, I think we would’ve had more options for dining So definitely the biggest positive was the comfortable bed and the linens , while the shower took over the full bathroom it was nice and hot and it was a rain shower"

"My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."

"I think the property could be managed better. There was no fridge in the room which was very inconvenient - I wanted to keep my drinks cold but couldn't. The bathroom amenities were very basic and no bath salts, soap by the bath area for example. The room balcony should be cleaned daily- it is full of pigeon poop. Otherwise, the property itself is lovely and historic, there's alot of potential to make this hotel a 5 star place, but you need a good management to be able to do this. The restaurant...
