"Beautiful building but lack of attention to detail. Upon arrival in spa, went to make a cup of hot tea and there was no sugar or stir sticks or spoons. Wanted to enjoy the hot tub before massage and it was like a barely warm bath plus the jets were spraying up at your face so you couldn’t sit without getting water in the face. "Second time I've stayed and is my, 'Go to' when working in West Sussex. Paddy the owner is very organised, the apartment spotlessly clean, on site parking directly outside the apartment, a couple of minutes off the motorway. "

"The only negative item to state was that the postcode via google did not bring us close to the property. I walked along the road for a few hundred metres, reading the various house signs before finding the property on a dark, unlit road. I just think some sort of indication should have been given as to the precise location. Apart from that, everything was 5 star."

"My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."

"Great place to stay and the owners are wonderful. Rooms are comfortable with loads of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and water. I didnt realise we could park there (for a fee) so I'd already booked parking.It's 5 minutes by cab to Gqtwick and the bus stop for Gatwick is right outside the Farmhouse. I'm sold, we're staying there everytime we fly from Gatwick. Great people to do business with. "

Choisi pour son tarif bon marché et sa proximité de l'aéroport, hélas il n''y avait pas de navette comme mentionnée dans l'annonce, trop loin pour effectuer cette distance à pied et aucune restauration sur place pour manger le soir... Nous avons dû prendre un Uber pour y venir et en partir, ainsi que nous faire livrer à manger, ce qui a vite fait monter la facture. Donc si vous êtes véhiculé allez y les yeux fermés....

Before heading out, we called reception and asked if our room could be refreshed and the towels replaced. It seemed like a simple request, but when we came back later, nothing had been done. "This is a capsule hotel - we paid £170 (a level higher than the base level) to get a coffee machine and a window where we could see flights arrive. The wet room was appalling and both of us being just about 60 it was not the best room for us. When you are at a hotel linked to the airport you expect to pay higher but at an equivalent hotel at Heathrow you can a far bigger room and all facilities. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. "Although the check out time was 12 and we put "Do not disturb"sign on the door, cleaners started cleaning our room while we went for a walk and removed our bag from the room. My husband was going to eat breakfast in the room after the walk but he was shocked as his bag was missing although he put the room service order through night before. There is no communication between the desk & cleaners and cleaners ignore the Do not disturb sign. "
