"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay."

"The location is kind of isolated but it was convenient for a location closer to the airport. We arrived by Uber and were worried about getting an uber for our early departure the next morning due to its location but the hotel offered to arrange a taxi with preferred rates (£20 cheaper than the Uber we had just paid for) nice, clean, large rooms!"

"We stayed here overnight as our flight was delayed and arrived near the midnight. There is a shuttle at Gatwick platform 9 (south terminal) that will take you to this hotel for £5. The check in was straight forward and easy. The room was super clean with comfortable bed and quiet. Highly recommend for any overnight stay and easy access to Gatwick."

"the property is completely inside the terminal in Gatwick airport, there is access only from the terminal not from the street so you cannot access directly from a taxi or transportation the property is very convenient for terminal and gate access the rooms are very small the only amenity is soap in the bathroom"

"A great location on our way to Brighton. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The evening meals and breakfast were both delicious with great presentation. A lovely setting. It was an incredibly hot night and a fan aided sleep. Would definitely return."

"The problem was no air conditioning. The room was very hot and humid. The fan that was provided didn’t improve the stuffy air. Everything else was fine. Staff were excellent.. very friendly and helpful."

"It’s a picturesque old pub with an extensive garden area and a large parking space. It’s quite classy indoors and we were impressed by both the sophisticated dinner menu and the food itself - very good.We were welcomed warmly and shown to the Cowdray Room, which opens on to the beer garden. That wasn’t a problem as the pub closes at 10, and then it was an advantage as we were able to sit outside for breakfast with the place to ourselves.
