"There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "

"As soon as I booked in Bridget made me feel right at home.which as a solo traveller I really appreciated. I observed other staff being friendly and welcoming to customers, not in a way that made them sound as though they had to be like that but because they genuinely behaved like that. The room was a good size very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food I had was good too.
