"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...

"The location for this place was definitely the key reason we booked this place. It’s walking distance to Ximendin and close to MRT station. The rooms were clean and the bathroom is clean. It’s just the facility is a bit old and you can tell. Also, I know this isn’t in the host’s control but the floor smells the minute the elevator opens.
