"I have been in Madrid more than 15 times ( I am from Puerto Rico) and this is the first time I stay in this area of the city and first time in this hotel. Good location at walking distance of Parque del Buen Retiro and near the Movistar Arena ( in case you are going to a concert , which was our case). It has a great rooftop with a nice view of Madrid. It is around 15 minutes walk to Gran Via. Most of the staff were nice, but they should be better trained on how to engaged a conversation when...

"Wonderful room! Very comfortable. GREAT location.
The breakfast, however, was not good (not many choices, poor-quality coffee, and limited fruit options). In addition, the breakfast was in a dingy room. The breakfast staff did what they could, but their options were limited.
In short, I would recommend staying here. but, I would recommend skipping the optional breakfast."
