"The rooms were very clean, the linens were nice, but the beds were not comfortable, it was like you were sleeping on the floor. The mine bar in the rooms The hotel amenities were less than impressive, the bars weren’t open until 11am, so even if you just wanted a plain soda, ice tea or water, it was simply not an option. Upon arrival Alejandro offered us a few incentives if we sat through a 90 minute 'timeshare' kinda sales pitch... 30 minute massage; 2 spa passes; access to 2 other Reef Resorts and free private transfer to the airport (we were flying out of Cancun). Agreed to go and it was WORTH IT! more about this later Expedia Gold Membership got us an upgrade to a corner suite - The suite is bigger than my apartment! Walked into a huge table with seating for 8; Kitchenette; Living Room with big screen TV; a full bathroom and balcony. Then we walked into our bedroom: another full bathroom; king size bed; jacuzzi tub; big screen TV; radio; safe; iron; hair dryer and another balcony (same balcony; it wraps around the entire suite - absolutely amazing!) Next morning; breakfast with Donaciano; Noemi and the rest of the crew - fantastic energy; easy going (absolutely lovely people). Fruits; breakfast parfaits; pastries; breads; western and traditional mexican dishes and the omelette station - Martha's is a freaking wizard of the grill; had one everyday"

"I had a great stay overall. The pool is amazing, and I really appreciated that my room was cleaned daily with fresh towels consistently provided. The staff was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room itself, especially with the kitchen and balcony, was fantastic and added a lot of comfort to my stay. There were a couple of minor drawbacks: the shower water pressure was a bit low, and the curtains didn’t fully block out the outside light. Aside from these small issues, everything else was excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again."
