"Overall our experience at Wyndham Grand Cancun was excellent. Reading some of the reviews we were worried that we booked the wrong hotel to stay in. The staff was excellent and the food was really good. The beach did not have a lot of sargassum and was really nice. Yes the property is dated and does need some visual updates but I'm not here for the aesthetics. AC kept up and we slept nice and cool. My family enjoyed there stay and would recommend it."

"The hotel is excellent. I have been there about six times, is obvious this place is my favorite. Unfortunately this time the beach was really full of the sargasso that invade the area. I was there for 15 days and for the first time I wasn’t able to go to the beach in the whole trip. Hope to go back but on different season because at this time of a year only the swimming pool is clean. The breakfast and the staff is really friendly and helpful and the view from my room is awesome."

"Staff was rude. Prices were highly inflated, besides a pool nothing else to do on resort. Photos online must be when the resort was new. The ocean area due to the boats is unable to be swam in. Water leeks in the room. Cockroch in my room. Limited restaurant hours. Would not recommend."

"The hotel is in a wonderful location with an ocean view and a pool; everything was great, the staff was very friendly and excellent. The only thing that needs updating is the bathrooms, as they were very old."

"First of all the staff was 5⭐️+, second the place it’s exactly what you need nothing fancy but it’s exactly what you need like the beach, pool, bar and the restaurant. Things I didn’t like I couldn’t change the temperature of the air conditioning of the room it was ok but I like my room really cold. Second I didn’t like the food at all now that’s a personal choice but I didn’t like it at all, I would love to see more choices to pick."

"We liked our room and comfortable bed with the mattress. Bed linen was nice and comfy also. We liked service in the room ,changing the towels and adding the water with out reminding . We didn't like the soundproofing of the rooms. We could hear our neighbors and late coming people. Overall nice hotel for the money!"
