"We got a last minute booking here to go to the Taylor Swift concert in Cardiff, convenient location for the train station only 5 minutes walk and 35 mins on the train. All the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good. Not a lot in the local area, unless you are going to Chepstow racecourse, but looked like there were plenty of places for food and drink. "

"Booked the hotel to be able to get into Cardiff for a concert. Good access and parking. Relatively easy to get to Cardiff via Uber to Newport station and then train. Unfortunately had to leave early next morning so didn't get to sample breakfast though it looked very nice. Would stay again."

"The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well-appointed with fabulous bathroom and quality toiletries. Tea pigs tea and Tan y Castell Welshcakes were a cut above, as well as Ty Nant bottled water.
The mattress and pillows were lovely quality. Rooms had minimalist furniture creating uncluttered calming space.
The full Welsh breakfast was impressive, cooked to order. Unlimited juices, cereal and toast.
Friendly, efficient staff. Car parking onsite.

"The room was lovely and clean plus they had put heating on which was a bonus on wet cold day. Disappointed the shower in our room would not work so had to use the bath not ideal when you like a morning shower. Very nice room not in main building but lovely Christmas wreath on door , Dyson hairdryer and room fan plus lovely selection of teas coffee and hot chocolate available.
