"We enjoyed our stay at Bella Mar! We stayed in room #1 by the pool. The AC was cold and the room was clean. The views are beautiful. You have full use of the outdoor kitchen and the full size refrigerator is shared by all 6 rooms. Plenty of space for drinks etc. Caribbean Garden next door was excellent for breakfast and dinner. "We recently stayed at Oleo Cancun Playa and unfortunately left feeling disappointed overall.
The biggest issue was the condition of the room. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor every single time we used it, so we constantly had to use multiple towels just to dry the floor. There was also visible mold in the shower, which was unacceptable for a resort. The hotel itself feels very outdated, with chipped paint, peeling furniture, and furnishings that have clearly seen better days.

"The resort is very nice, clean, and well maintained. Our room was a perfect size and was kept clean all day. Darwin, a bartender in the adult pool area, was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. The only downside in my opinion is that the pool bars don't open until 11am and close 6pm. It is an all inclusive resort and should be open longer."

"There was no transparency as it was so hot during the day and as soon as i went in the pool the bars were closed. "Very kid friendly and family friendly!
Staff was great! Very polite, professional, and respectful. 3 restaurant options - reservations go fairly quickly so couldn’t really enjoy them all. Buffet had decent options to enjoy. &The beach was very full of seaweed, but I was told it’s better after December!
Overall it was a wonderful stay from arrival to departure. The staff was genuine and I can’t say enough because that’s what really makes an all inclusive experience unforgettable."

"The variety of foods was very good. The hotel and beach were very well maintained. The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The pools were very clean with different atmospheres for each pool setting which was awesome for how you wanted to spend your day. The only negative was that we wish the A/C could be set a little lower but was ok in the room with ceiling fan. Definitely will stay there again."
