"Beautiful looking hotel in a stunning setting. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. Bedrooms and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The communal areas could do with sprucing up, some of the decor is a bit dated and the carpets are grubby, if they could get that right then they would be a potential big hitter in the premium country house sector which is full of high quality accommodation"

"Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Room exceeded expectations. Was very clean and comfortable. Was a bit disappointed in the pool facilities. Pool itself was quite cold and the ladies changing rooms rather tatty and not so clean. Would happily stay again if in the area. "
