"It’s a very old hotel shower could use some new taps ++ not all the outlets are the same strange! And we asked about the restaurant whether it would be open for dinner and breakfast and the only answer we could get was Maybe ? And it was never opened whilst we was there …."

"Went midweek and it was very haphazard, yes there was a schedule of entertainment but no it wasn’t followed. Got pizza delivered in the evening. There was very little choice in the park itself for food and coffee even harder to come by. The room itself was grand - the treasure hunt a highlight."

"Front desk was topnotch ."

"I ordered some chicken nuggets when I arrived. They were dreadful."

"Lovely, well thought out hotel with interesting history and friendly service. Best location in Windsor….breakfast watching the swans on the Thames was simply divine!"

"Staff"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Macdonald Windsor Hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Windsor and just steps from Windsor Castle, shops, restaurants, and the train station. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was the perfect place to stay while exploring Windsor, and we would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly, made is feel very welcome. Great food in both restaurants - good vegetarian options. Great cocktails. Comfy bed, good shower. Expensive, but this was a birthday treat :)"

"Excellent hotels, but showing signs of poor maintenance and attention to detail. Sauna a few cm's deep in water. Air conditioning units were very dirty (had to turn the one off in my room as it smelled very bad."

"Nice clean hotel with good service"
