"This is a nice little hotel within walking distance to a bus station that takes you everywhere in Luzern. The rooms are a little outdated and old with only basics included. For instance, there was only one power outlet (which had a lamp and fan already plugged in) in the entire room. The breakfast was good. Staff very polite. Nice play area for kids on the first floor. Overall, I think it was a little too expensive for what it offered but I guess that’s Switzerland!!"

"I want to be as upfront as possible. DO NOT book this hotel especially if you prepay. It does not match the description. You think you’re staying in a nice chalet next to the lake. However, where you’re really staying is on the backside of the restaurant across the street. The halls look like a dungeon with no natural light or ventilation. The room on the website looks bright and airy. It is not. There was one window where we could see everyone climbing the outside stairs to their rooms but...

"We loved this spot, with a bus stop right in front of the property. There was easy access back into the city. Plenty of water activities right at the resort with a nice little beach."

"The air conditioner broke in the middle of a heat wave in the middle of the night. We called downstairs but we were only able to partially restore it after a lot of effort and waking everyone in the room up. The hotel obviously does not maintain the property as well as they could. They should not be charging the prices they do for rooms with no air conditioning. When we checked out, the staff don’t even ask us how our stay was. Some staff were friendly and helpful but others were definitely not....
