"The property was dated, carpet dirty, bed simple and hard, room side was dusty, no proper tv only iPlayer and YouTube etc, bathroom small and stained and noisy because of the water pump when running hot water and when the next room uses the water, all switches switched all the lights on and off and nothing in-between, stank of oil based paint for the whole of my stay overall wouldn’t stay here again"

Didn't like the strong smell of air freshener on the first night felt like it was an attempt to mask something as could have sworn we smelt cannabis around the landing etc the first night, gone the second night and we only stayed the two nights. "I think the property could be managed better. There was no fridge in the room which was very inconvenient - I wanted to keep my drinks cold but couldn't. The bathroom amenities were very basic and no bath salts, soap by the bath area for example. The room balcony should be cleaned daily- it is full of pigeon poop. Otherwise, the property itself is lovely and historic, there's alot of potential to make this hotel a 5 star place, but you need a good management to be able to do this. The restaurant...

"Perfect for an early morning flight"

"The manor house and estate was spectacular. We were a little disappointed in that we booked to stay in this wonderful manor, but upon arrival we were told that our room was located in a small house on the property about 400yards from the manor house by the entrance gate. It was referred to at the "lodge" Reception staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. The breakfast was exceptional."

Self check in is efficient. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable (albeit only slept in it for 4 hours. Shower was hit and powerful. Tea and coffee and water in the room. Not a noisy property Little to no negatives"
