"Hotel is easy to locate and convenient for access to motorway (M25) and into Reigate centre where I found a car charger and a curry house and other shops. Reception were welcoming, had to take luggage and golf clubs up a flight of stairs then to end of corridor, no lift I could see. Inconvenient but wouldn't be great for someone with less mobility. Room was a good size, bathroom clean. Shower gels etc provided as was tea, coffee, biscuits. All was dated in appearance though, from downstairs bar...

"The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so polite and welcoming but struggled to sleep due to the temperature in the room or could of been the bed sheets weren't cotton as they felt like a furnace."

"Beautiful old hotel near Gatwick (10-15 min by taxi, 23 GBP). We were upgraded to the Jane Seymour room which had a lovely back balcony over looking the pond and fountain. Beautiful grounds, you can see why it's so popular for weddings! The lounge areas and bar could be updated but were very cozy. There were many tables having afternoon tea when we arrived. We had drinks and informal dinner (good fish & chips) in the lounge and were very happy. A great place to stay if flying to or from Gatwick!...

"The location of the hotel was excellent for an early morning flight being across the road from the airport. The restaurant on the property was pretty good. Room amenities were also good and appreciated. I would definitely recommend this property."

"Good room for a brief stay overnight and proximity to Gatwick. The sink was blocked in the room. However, the restaurant was awful. The service was terrible, with our order forgotten, and took over 1 hour to come out. Drinks to over 20 minutes. When it did arrive, it was not the quality expected of a Marriott with the meat poor quality, the cesar salad full of mayonnaise. For two mains and two drinks it cost over £70. Do yourself a favour and avoid the restaurant"

"Had to exchange numerous e-mails with property to confirm availability and confirmation of adjoining rooms. There was NO housekeeping for the rooms over a 4 day stay, although request cards were left on the door. Had to go to the front desk to request clean towels, bed linens never changed. No refrigerator in room. Safe door was left open in locked position so safe could not be utilized. Interaction with front desk staff OK and accommodating. Breakfast buffet adequate."

"Everything was fine except that the bed was really hard. If you dislike a comfortable bed, if you enjoy sleeping on stiff, hard surfaces, then you’ll love this. "

"The owner collected us from the airport bus station, £15 for the 3 of us. Our room was adequate with 3 beds however the shower room was very good. Looked like it was recently refurbished. One issue was the shower head was loose. The room temperature was decent and the beds clean and comfortable though new pillows are needed as they are pretty thin. Also the scatter cushion covers need a wash. The location is great for Gatwick Airport and a reasonable price. "

"This would have been the perfect place for my overnight stay before collecting somebody from Gatwick airport early the next morning. However, it was a cold night and the heating was not on. When I called for assistance at 21.30 I was told that somebody would check the boiler and that it was on a timer and should come on soon! Nothing happened, although the hallway and passage ways were heated. I turned the knob as requested to no avail and nobody saw to it that the heating was on. I froze all...
