"Our second visit and we would be happy to stay again. Set in a lovely olde worlde part of Shepperton it is a nice quiet location very close to the river. Lovely bar area and restaurant with an out door area to sit and watch the river life. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable, water pressure for the shower was a bit low but adequate. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay."

"Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! Room was lovely which was cleaned daily. The best shower pressure! Tea coffee, water and juice in the room. Great location, walking distance to Esher town centre and the Racetrack! Highly recommend Edwinas home!"

"My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Swan Inn. The staff were all fantastic and the food at the restaurant was great. Having a breakfast cooked to order included in the price was a nice surprise. The accommodation was good value and the bedroom, while small, was well designed. The shower was fabulous with lovely shampoo and soaps. Our only criticism was the bed and pillows. The mattress was mis-shapen (so much so that I fell out of bed twice). The duvet was too small and the pillows were...

"This is a great airport hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food options were fantastic and delicious.. had a great night sleep before connecting to my flight the following morning. . Covered walkway to terminal 4."

"I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

"Excellent hotel, room and location, reachable on foot from terminal 4 and super quiet, even if on a busy road we couldn’t hear anything. Only thing is that the receptionist didn’t inform us that if breakfast is prepaid at the desk is £15, if not it’s £19.99."

"It's s decent guesthouse, Very clean and a good location. The staff are friendly. Hounslow Central is a bit sketchy but being a Londoner that doesn't bother me. Unfortunately I had a terrible night's sleep. The single bed was very soft. The room was baking hot and in am attempt to cool down in put on the provided fan. That just moves around warm air. I tried opening the window bit it opens accrpss the bed spots really awkward. The open window allowed noise from street plus a really loud fan...

"Clean room nice staff Nb the room was ready when we arrive around 11:00. But the were charging 20 pounds for early Check in, They could have let us in the room. We just let our luggage and did the checkin later that day"
