"This is a very basic “motel” type of property. Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. "We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. "
"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note.
