"We had an excellent time at Polkeris. We coskted Jamaica for a funeral and experienced so much care and courtesy that it made the trip so much lighter. Peter and Elaine have created a 5 star experience with attention to every detail. The food is a 10. The rooms are a ten. The pool are a 10 and the hospitality is a 10. We will be back."

"Staff was excellent and attentive.Rooms are dated but clean. Bar and beach area caters to local beach vendors, leading to constant solicitation."

"Stay here if you want a quick getaway. Stay here if you need to fly in a day or 2 early due to airline prices. Stay here if your flight is canceled and you need to crash. This spot is very cozy and feels like "nanas house". Ms. Shirley was so sweet and took very good care of us. Her grandson does it all on the property. He is an exceptional waiter. They have a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu reasonably priced. All of our meals were delicious. Until next time."

"Staff are special people. Knowlegeable, helpful and friendly. Reese, Savannah, and Newman all were wonderful. Breakfast was great read not good but great. And a beautiful pool with exquisite views Swimming naked is a treat. Bobby keeps the grounds in shape but unobtrusively."

"Would not recommend"

"We went in the off season. The owners and staff were very attentive. I highly recommend the food there for all meals just make sure to tell them in advance you'll be eating there. Travel from Negril to the retreat if you drive there. If dont you will drive through very hard to drive in mountains (at least for an American). It is very beautiful and remote. We do plan on coming back for the food and amazing veiws and recomending it to out friends and families."
