"Dated room but clean and comfortable"

"The room was clean. Could use an upgrade in the pillows. Breakfast was okay. Coffee was Nescafé which I do not like. Adequate parking. "

"Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep. "

"It’s fine for what it was, a room to catch some sleep before continuing our trip at a great price. The ro was clean and the staff both evening and morning were friendly. Outward facing rooms are loud and this was increased due to the road construction going on nearby. No coffee maker in the room was a disappointment but breakfast included downstairs in an under $75 price was a positive. There was also some sketchy looking stuff going on outside at night so there’s that, but when staying at...

"No bedbugs but there were ants in our room. Overnight staff wasnt very hospitable. She said we could drive up to our room, and then 1 min later told us we couldn't. Didn't greet us and wasn't kind. A bed is a bed but I wouldn't stay again "

"Was hard to find the entrance, two difference hotel check in’s at one desk was confusing, rooms were drab and outdated "

"I love the Embassy Suites because the rooms are very accommodating with the bedroom livingroom style rooms. The made to order breakfasts are perfect way to start the morning. My main complaint about this Emabssy in particular is the parking garage is quite the walk down the street, which makes loading and unloading difficult. With no catwalk to get there in case of inclement weather. I probably will not stay there again because of this reason."

"All staff were very nice and accommodating. However the facilities are tired and need refreshing. It is conveniently located with easy walking distance to most places."

"Didnt Eat Any "

"I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...

"Upon arrival we had another guest inform us that we would need space heaters for our rooms because the entire hotel didn’t have heat. The boiler room went out and it was blowing cold air, we were traveling with a small child. This wasn’t noted in their website nor was it communicated when we called to confirm the reservation. Will not be returning unless absolutely desperate."

"They reserved a king room instead given a two full beds room. And on top of they double booked us and someone repeatedly tried to enter our room at 11:00 at night. Front desk called our room to ask who was in the room. Then they must have changed the key because when we left the room in the morning for breakfast when we came back our key wouldn’t work."

"Staff is excellent! The room looked a little rough around the edges. Nail polish dumped down the bedside table and onto the carpet. Spots on the carpet as well. Not sure when the top blanket on the bed had been laundered last. I folded it down and went on. The property is beautiful and is close to the highway. Easy access to everything. The lobby is nice and inviting. The breakfast was good. "
