"Staff are very friendly, food is very good and reasonably priced. The building is lovely and full of character, however the rooms are simply decorated. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, there were no parking spaces when we arrived in the afternoon so we had to park down the street, but parking is free in Long Melford so this wasn't a problem. "

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Bushel and it was in a great location, very near to the town centre. Obviously an old building but Green King have done the perfect renovations and updates on the rooms, it was very comfortable. Our room was light and airy, the ensuite bathroom left me with bathroom envy with its full size shower cubicle. Liquid soap and shower gels provided and the bath towels were massive and fluffy.
