"Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location. Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay. "

"An average hotel in every way. First impressions were poor with staff drinks all around the reception desk. Quality of food from room service was average at best. Rooms were badly sound-proofed and could heard the tv from next door all night. Won’t be rushing back when there is so much choice around. "

"The apartment was perfect! Everything we needed and very spacious with enormous beds. We were aware that we'd be in the centre of town but totally missed we'd be so close to the Cavern and the noise would exceed the levels we had expected until the early hours. I'd advise decent ear plugs! "

"Staff were very pleasant. The classic double room was decent, no frills, but did the job. Downside is we stayed on Saturday evening and had the worst nights sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. The noise coming from by the Cavern Club and outside the hotel was unbearable - extremely loud drumming until 2am. I called front desk who advised this is normal and what you should expect from city centre hotels. From experience, I appreciate you may encounter some noise from city centre but this...
