"Quaint, but without all the downsides that quaint can be in England,--highly recommend. Staff was great, food and service very good. Only 'bug' was having to carry bags up 3 floors to room.....again highly recommend"

"Place needs a pool and hot tub. Sink and tap design are very powerful so less is more.small fridges and in room safes would be a welcome addition to the top notch accomdations"

"A real gem! We booked it last minute after a disaster with our first hotel. We walked in and immediately felt welcomed. It has a lovely feel, smells gorgeous and the spa is stunning. Food in the restaurant was delicious and staff are friendly. It was a nice treat for my birthday. We’ll definitely be staying again. Thank you 🤗"

"Hotel,room,grounds & swimming pool area was very well maintained & spotlessly clean....we loved the pathway around the grounds for walking our dog & was so surprised to have so many dog litter bins provided also an outside dog bath/shower amazing .....The staff was lovely everywhere in the hotel ....a great buffet breakfast & during our stay popped in to lounge area where you had a free drinks machine which we had excellent hot chocolate from after our dog walk....hotel is set within a lovely...

"Great welcome from the receptionist very helpful in knowledge of local area. Room was dated but clean and welcoming. Had to turn heating down as very warm in room. Barman friendly & service was good. "

Breakfast was nice the only slightly negative thing was glasses and plates were not replenished we had to ask for that to be done despite 2 staff being in the area. Otherwise cannot fault the hotel . staff were welcoming at reception "

"Room was spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. We managed to charge our car for free with the destination Tesla charger. Pool was really warm - didn’t mind the charge of £5 per person per day - we were informed of this beforehand so no surprises there. Did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food "
