"Comfortable stay, lovely room."

"In general it was all good. Some of the carpets were a bit tired, the desk was sagging and there was no seat for the desk (the comfy chair was too small to use instead)."

"A good hotel with helpful staff. Breakfast buffet good. Crazy practice of charging hotel guests to park but that seems to be a growing trend. Be honest and include the charge in the hotel costs instead of hiding additional costs."

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good."

"Considering this is a bed and breakfast establishment, it is excellent. We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very comfortable, with good quality bedding. Good shower, with rain head and normal head, towels were plentiful and soft. All very clean. We did not have breakfast, but the room looked well appointed. Large lounge and reception areas, with a billiard table in one room. All the staff were lovely."

"Good atmosphere and history (Titanic connections). Restaurant yummy. Rate hotel down just a bit due to a towel warmer in bathroom which made entire bedroom warm, so had to crank down AC. Mattress not great. Woke up with stiff back. Also rate down when asking front desk about a shuttle bus which might take us to our cruise ship, was met with a response of “I have no idea; I’ve never been on a cruise.”"

"Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. "No door key as all digital, had to use phone which is ok but only gives access to 1 person. Shower temperature was luke warm at it's hottest, shower gel dispenser didn't work. Also the air-conditioning didn't work, had to use the fan instead. Room was noisy due to the adjacent pub."

"Stayed one night before our cruise out of Southampton. Modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. About a two minute walk to a large shopping center and restaurants. Quick taxi to the cruise port in the morning. Would highly recommend staying at the Moxy."

"The property is timber framed and old, really old. Cleanliness and condition is very good but this building needs constant maintenance. We loved it, it’s very old and full of history. Very cute little town, very nice surroundings. We hit it in the middle of a heat wave and there is no AC, in fact there’s likely no AC in most of the village but the normal temperature does not require it. We were just unlucky.
