"I can't see how anyone can say anything negatively or indifferent about this hotel. I am a very picky traveler and appreciate great service and from the moment I checked in to the hotel, everything and everyone was spot on. The hotel is immaculate. The service was better than at any hotel I have experienced. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel. "I think this was my fourth or fifth time staying there. All I can tell you is that everything about it is perfection, but not in a stuffy way. Five stars on every count was not an exaggeration. The staff are so warm and welcoming and treat you like an old friend even on the first visit. The location couldn’t be any better. A safe pedestrian street with easy access to the tube and shopping and strolling."

"The rooms were clean and comfortable and we loved the community room with extra room essentials, laundry area, and storage space. The location is also very walkable and convenient. Wish there was a guest bathroom to use downstairs by the laundry/storage room. And the setup of not having a front desk, phone number, or actual people to communicate with was tricky. Not sure I recommend it for everyone. We had to communicate via Whatsapp, and sometimes responses were not fast enough."

"Funky relaxed hotel with a bar downstairs and very quiet room, but I had to wait ages to check in, my room wasn't ready, was left sitting in the bar and had to keep asking for my room. Once allocated, it was very clean, arty and a bit different, there was a Marshall amp so you could play guitar, mobile things hanging from the wall by the bed and what looked like a block of ice lol for the toilet and shower. "A lovely hotel just a stone’s throw from St Paul’s Cathedral, with an excellent selection of places to eat right on the doorstep. The room was small but perfectly normal for London, comfortable and well laid out to maximise the space. Breakfast was excellent, with loads of choice. The entrance was step free and the rooms were accessible. The aircon was excellent especially as London was in the midst of a heatwave! My only minor gripe was the bathroom’s sliding door, which was a bit stiff to open...

"The level of customer service fir this hotel was off the charts! Concierge check in, upgraded room, chilled water station on every floor, no request was too much for the staff, roof top bar was super fun and great bar and cocktails at Lyonasse! Definitely will stay again"

"Plausible time travel decor - ambience conjures late 18th, early 19th c origin of building (in fact very eclectic but why quibble). Room comfortable and nothing lacking. Was provided with french press coffee maker for coffee service in mornings, nice touch. Plumbing also a whiff of days long gone: claw-foot tub with brass handles and regulator."
