"This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again. "

"I loved my stay here, the location is lovely, surrounded by countryside, the room very comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing, especially the Sunday carvery! I will definitely stay at The Dunoon again and highly recommend it."

"Amazing hotel clean, fresh, rooms are lovely, nice size and complementary tea and coffee and mini fridge stocked, Jan the owner was lovely very welcoming, car parking is limited on site but that didn’t bother us we parked in a side street near the hotel, lovely location, shop few steps away, Carbis bay hotel and beach literally 5/10 minutes walk but mind the hill on the way back up, you can drive down but parking can be expensive for the day and limited spaces. Definitely return."

"Steep walk back from Falmouth town. Buses available JJ’s taxi very reasonable efficient and friendly. Good choice for brrakfast"

"The Borthalan Hotel was amazing from the friendly and extremely helpful owners to the beautiful facilities and view. The owners provided all that we needed to get into St Ives and to walk around the local Carbis Bay Area - this made the visit that much more enjoyable. There is plenty of parking if you are driving to the Borthalan - which was a huge plus. The Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and they met all of my wife’s gluten allergy needs. We will absolutely visit again."

"Really unique property, well themed with lighthouse and aquatic paraphernalia. Modern facilites and great location only a few mins drive or a short walk to the seafront. Very comfy bed and interior in all. Highly recommend "
