"Beds were comfy, everything was fantastic and the service was very friendly and generally kind. Our room was very spacious and we loved the balcony. The only suggestion I would make would be a bigger duvet for the queen beds. I’m really tall and I found it either didn’t cover my length or if I moved it around it wouldn’t fully cover my partner. Otherwise, fantastic and great location!"

Die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich geräumig und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Empfang: Beim Check-in wurden wir persönlich bis zum Zimmer begleitet, und kleine Fragen konnten direkt vor Ort geklärt werden.

"The hotel and its location were excellent. The staff was most helpful in arranging for tour events and directing me top the pick up sites.
I was quite surprised that the breakfast was not automatically included. This is my experience most unusual."
"The apartment was great and had everything we needed. There is a small private parking lot, but unfortunately our large van was a bit too big to fit. Plenty of street parking within a few blocks though. Staff were very responsive to messages."

The hotel has a spa with a workout facility, steam and sauna. The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of choices. "
"Excellent! The location, the apartment, amenities: all excellent. Best of all, if you pay for the breakfast, they’ll leave fresh bread hanging your door handle in the morning. Totally worth it! Plants breakfast was 2 oranges, 2 yogurts, sliced bread, ham, and cheese, jams, butter, and a whole red pepper.
Room was huge, clean, and everything was perfect. "

Twin bed and sofa. Workt for us because we were 2 grownup and one child but had preferred 3 beds.
Close to everything (Reykjavik is a smal town) but not to the bus station.

"I would category this as a beautiful historical luxury hotel with all of the modern conveniences. We stayed her for 2 days prior to a cruise and would highly recommend this hotel. Staff went out of their way to accommodate any questions or requests to make our stay comfortable and superb. The location is perfect for lots of historical sites, retail, and shopping. Very walkable. "
"Super comfortable, clean, and spacious. Only drawbacks were that the airport is very close meaning you hear and see large planes flying very low overhead. They don't fly late into the night or start very early though, so it didn't detract from our stay other than startling us the first time. We also had a couple issues with the keypad at the front entry, but we were still able to get in. Amazing location and very lovely stay overall though! And parking was very easy to find."
