"For years now, when picking a hotel - I go with location rather than anything else. This one was a bit strange at first. I was in the single room and actually giggled when walked in. Definitely smaller than most rooms in most places I stayed, but hey - had everything for any traveler. I like to leave early and come back only to sleep. "The room was clean and modern and most of the staff were helpful. Somehow the pier of S Maria del Giglio were closed during my 2 day stay, it almost killed me us from dragging two 28 inches suitcases and 2 carry ons (coming from Australia for 1 month of Europe trip) all the way from the next closest pier…… and there was a national strike on the day of leaving, had to cross 4 bridges and dragged suitcases again for 1km to Rialto pier…it would have been nicer if I had been informed by the hotel...
