"The hotel was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I think it is very overpriced for what they offer. The gym didn’t even have something as basic as cold water, and the coffee machine in the room had small insects in it. There wasn’t much variety of drinks available — only basic options — compared to other hotels I have stayed at before, where I paid much less than for this hotel. Overall, this hotel was not what I expected for the price I paid."

"The hotel was lovely my problem here is with Expedia. As a platinum member I was given NO reason why I was moved from my original hotel, I feel I was downgraded. Expedia has yet to apologize or explain the reasoning. I was booked in a suite in the family area of Hotel Xcaret Mexico, I was told by Expedia I was in the upgraded adult area, this was not the fact. My original property was a 5 star all adult resort. I HAD to upgrade my stay which cost me $2000 additional dollars to be in the adult...

"This resort is the ideal place for a honeymoon. From the moment you get out of the cab you are greeted and treated like you’re the most important person there. The staff was amazing throughout our stay and our concierge Armando was on top of everything we could want and need before we could think it ourselves.
