"Nice clean room and modern bathroom. Friendly helpful staff who kept us right."

"The room was nice, but there was a moist smell that did not go away even after ventilation was turned on. There was 2 big patches/stains on the carpet that seemed like quite old stains, giving the carpet unclean feeling. "

"Check-in was quick and easy as someone was at the desk but there were times I would have liked to ask a question of a staff member but there was no one around. I would also like to have had a suitcase stand rather than have it opened on the floor. I don't like to us the bed as a suitcase stand as the suitcase is not particularly clean."

"Firstly the positives for the Roker hotel are as follows the parking is good and free with your stay and the staff are lovely a big shout out to Ian on reception he is a lovely guy but positives out of the way the negatives are many firstly the carpet in the passage way is filthy and needs replacing and the chandelier on the stairs is thick of dust with bulbs missing not a good start then onto the room we stayed in well I would say it is show over substance what I mean by that is that the glitz...

"I booked for 4 nights,stayed for the first then left,i think that says it all,the room stank of weed.when i got home i had to wash ALL of my clothes,including the ones i hadn't worn that where hanging in the wardrobe...dreadful experience "

"My two nights were terrible. I was left in freezing cold unable to gain access due to the lock. Owner was not immediately available for support. A guest smoked cigarettes and weeds on both night with windows shut. I returned to a smelly property. As a non smoker this was unacceptable. My clothes and air felt dirty. The same client cooked with windows shut causing the smoke alarm to go off disturbing my peace. Kitchen was used and not immediately cleaned after use by other guest. "

"A lovely flat close to all the amenities and transport hubs in Sunderland. Only a 20min walk to the Stadium of Light if you are going to the football. There is a great curry house just next door and a Wetherspoon across the road for breakfast. "

"Beach is amazing right in doorstep great sea views. I have stayed at this hotel more than 10 times this year I love it pool, sauna ,steam and gym free for guests even free parking . Staff are friendly apart from one of the leisure staff see if u can guest which one"
