"A true rarity—Hotel Jägerhof is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. From the second we stepped inside, we knew we had booked the right place. The hotel offers so many thoughtful touches: a delicious buffet breakfast, complimentary transport to and from the train station, and warm, friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the start. Our room was on the first floor and had lovely mountain views (not the Matterhorn, but still stunning). The balcony was shared, but it never felt...

"Great budget hotel just off the center of Zermatt. We had a nice (albeit tight) balcony with a glimpse of The Matterhorn. The room was clean but unfortunately no air conditioning and it was quite warm in the room. There’s a refrigerator which was very convenient. Stepping into the shower isn’t designed for short people which was a bit awkward. We had to check in at another hotel, but it was only steps away. Would stay here again for convenience and cleanliness."
