"Impeccable stay. My 20 year civil partnership celebration. We had a private room for the event, a few guests rooms booked. Staff efficient, attentive and so charming. Meal was amazing. Room 101 a divine room. The hotel is so charming in it's history period I defiantly recommend a stay here and explore the fascinating old high street and artisanal business. "

"We stayed here for the night as we were going to the Farmers Dog pub for dinner. This is a great pub/restaurant with rooms. We were in the annexe across the court yard. Room was nice with plenty of space . Complimentary water, hot drinks, biscuits, shower toiletries and comfy top quality bedding. The only downside was the shower was a little awkward. Big waterfall shower but fitted a bit close to the taps so in order to be underneath it you had to stand right by the taps over the plug hole and...

"Excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden. We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing. We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely, the wife had boiled eggs and soldiers, they were perfect with nice runny yokes. My full English breakfast was excellent with a perfectly cooked poached egg. All the staff...
