"The Hotel is up for Sale when we stayed, but was clean and staff friendly. Room was Ok but entrance was via car park outside. Converted store maybe. Car park small and parking on street was limited"

Stamford is a delightful historic town that's certainly worth seeing. A great range of shops - including many independents. A good place to break a journey or from which to take a holiday in that part of England.

Car parking is very stressful with few spaces and narrow roads, so research where you can park beforehand. Place itself is lovely. Great for couples.
