"Just stayed one night on a golf break. A real little gem. Nothing too much trouble. Staff and food great. Such a comfortable bed and everywhere spotlessly clean. Would recommend."

Lovely atmosphere on a sunny afternoon. Gastro pub, although we felt that the standard of the food could be improved a little. Overall though an enjoyable stay. "

"Lovely pub situated just off the main road in Egham. Very easy to check in and we were shown to the room. Very quirky decor which was fine and a large bed and spacious bathroom. Only negatives were that the room got very hot so the fan had to be deployed and the extractor fan from the kitchen must run close by as we could hear it for a while and some of the smell escaped into the room. "

"The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful but it was on the same level and overlooked the beer garden, so I think that this could be a problem in the summer. It also had an interconnecting door, which meant I could hear my noisy neighbours very clearly!"

"Pleasant pub with rooms with a newly refurbished beer garden and near but not overlooking the river and within walking distance of Kempton Races (30 minutes level walk) and with local restaurants nearby. Please note, contrary to the listing, there is no car park and parking may be tricky."

"Extremely friendly staff great service. Very noisy road outside but they do provide ear plugs. Shower cubicle needs updating quite a bit of mould in the shower area. Overall an enjoyable stay"

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow).
