"The bed was broken or not put together. We spent all night putting the bed back together. It was apparently two single beds. It was a nightmare as my daughter had exams needed a good nights sleep. I told them that before we arrived. There was mould on the shower . I am asthmatic!Strange staircase which did not help my mobility issues. All night people walking and partying Above and keeping us awake all night! My daughter went to the exam with 2 hours sleep and failed the exam. All of the above...

"Staff are really nice and everything is really clean Plenty of choice for breakfast Their is a bus stop right outside that takes you into town and I never used the car once In town we used the hop on hop off tour bus to get everywhere I really recommend the river cruise. Also a few bus stops down is a Chinese restaurant called Xian Best Chinese I have ever had."

"Great and the buses into oxford every 10 mins was great"

"The rooms had forced-air air conditioning, but it was not working at all on a very hot night. The windows only open an inch or so, and while that allowed in the noise from the bar courtyard below, it did nothing to alleviate the heat. The staff did provide a fan when asked. Otherwise, I would not have been able to sleep at all. Bottom line, avoid Malmaison when the weather is hot."

"Wonderful price and location. Very clean and basic set-up though kettle and tea/coffee provided. The main negative was that the room was a sauna as there was no air conditioning. They had kindly provided a fan but during the UK heatwave this was insufficient. Having said that, if the temperature was normal I think we'd have had a very comfortable stay. Staff were lovely and super location."

"The room was better than the main doors and reception of the hotel. But really want Great mold stain on pillow, bold blood stain on bed quilt, cushions had white stains on them. Hallway smelt of ciaagtte. Didn't go to the pub below. So can't rate it. Was only an 8 min walk from the shopping centre so that was amazing."
