"Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day. Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable. I'd happily stay again."

"It was clean and had feather pillows which I like. It was also centrally located. However, it was up 3 flights of stairs, so not ideal for anyone with a physical disability. It was also next to a noisy road and traffic which woke me up in the morning."

"Our stay was amazing from start to finish, the hotel, restaurants, bars and rooms are beautiful. The food is absolutely incredible, the service was also brilliant. Great vibes in the evening. The music can be quite loud into the evening on a saturday so I would recommend asking for a quieter room. Great stay, thank you for having us."

"This is a beautifully furnished, elegant hotel in the centre of Cheltenham. It’s in a quiet part of the town and with easy walking to Montpellier. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with high quality tea, coffee-making machines. A fridge with a bottle of water is a thoughtful addition, the toiletries are Occitane, and the towel are of good quality cotton. The room had air conditioning which was essential during a heat wave. "We liked the location of this hotel, a quiet area within walking distance of the centre of Cheltenham. Our room was large and clean. The sink had a large crack which didn’t look great considering our first impression was a good one. Breakfast was good, not great, but good. Compliments to all the staff who were charming, welcoming and efficient throughout."

"The George is in a very central place in Cheltenham, it’s close to all the bus's needed to got to the Cotswolds and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful and give good advice regarding the area. We had the continental breakfast and there was plenty of healthy food and drinks available. We also had some cooked to order breakfasts and these were exceptionally good. On the downside some of the carpets on the stairs need renewing. Overall I’d give the George 9/10."

"This pub is nothing like the photos online! Looks rundown & in bad shape. Inside not much better, dated and old looking but not in a good sense. Room was basic but did the job for one night. Cheaper than other accommodation in the centre of Cheltenham but for a reason! Breakfast included but left half of the cooked breakfast as felt sick. Wouldn't stay again nor recommend to fellow travellers looking to book ❌️"

"I wasn’t impressed with the hotel. I had forgot my swim suit and the spa ladies were atrocious and very fake. The restaurant didn’t have enough meals for customers and poor service by the waitresses! The room was a twin bed when we were a couple. No music or entertainment all in all.. better to find a Holi park or glamping site"
