"This is a great self service motel. The rooms are updated and clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast(weekends only)is cooked fresh and is good. However, they don't service your room. You are told at check in that they won't enter your room for anything except maintenance. You have to go to the lobby and ask for everything you need including ice/toilet paper. It did have a microwave and refrigerator. You have to ask for an iron. You aren't asked how many towels you'll need during your stay....

We arrived like 2 or 3 hours before check in and they let us use the parking lot early and even got the room like 30 minutes or a hour after we arrived. "I'm not a fan of the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area to begin with, so that probably effected my ratings. They both try so hard to be the next Branson, and Gatlinburg is just too small of an area for that many people. Also, I discovered when we checked in that the hotel was hosting a high school cheerleading convention. Nearly 1,000 hyperactive teenagers everywhere you went in the property.
