"The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem!
The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated.
Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The real surprise was the restaurant. I would recommend trying out the food, even if you're not staying at the Inn. The food was locally sourced, all fresh and well prepared and presented.
All in all a very pleasant two night stay.

"A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room!
Parking was convenient with the porter parking for us and was handled quickly and efficiently.

An issue with the booking - not their fault at all - was swiftly and calmly dealt with by a lovely member of staff - unfortunately I didn’t get her name - but she went the extra mile to ensure that I wasn’t disappointed.
