"Breakfast was good and service was great! Room was a bit on the warm side, my menopause was not cooperating well. All in all great location and convenient for the rest and time to visit the places that we were looking forward to seeing! Definitely staying again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Chambers d'Or. It is located in the heart of the Prati neighborhood, and the metro stop is just a few blocks away. The neighborhood has a great vibe, within easy walking distance of the Vatican. The room was small but clean and updated. It comes fully stocked with basic amenties such as shampoo, body wash, a coffee maker, safe, and small fridge. The room has an AC unit, but we couldn't figure out how to get it to work well. The room has the 3-prong plugs (Type L, I think?) There is a small but functional elevator in the building. When you first get there, press the call button to have them let you in. The facility is on the third floor. They man the desk from around 8 to 5 ish? (We tended to leave before they got there and get back after they were gone for the day.) Once you have your key card, you can let yourself into the building by just holding that key card over the keypad that sits above the regular call button. Roberto was super friendly but isn't a strong English speaker. (The cleaning staff were a bit easier to communicate with, though.) You will need to pay the room tax in cash. For our 5-night stay for two people, it was 40 Euros total, which they collected when we checked in. Pizza M'Po directly across the street was great, and we stopped for cappuccinos and pastries several times as Parenti, which is just around the corner. I can't comment on the sit down restaurants in the neighborhood because we didn't visit any of them. "

"Parking was safe with plenty of room. Bit of a walk to the Vatican, about 15 minutes but downhill. "

"It was a very nice hotel, we missed our first night because of flight cancellations, but we were able to check in when we arrived the following day with no problem, there was no parking spot for our room, which was a problem. But the hotel was nice enough."
