"we really enjoyed this hotel. They had an a spa that was included that had a steam room, sauna hot tub and a pool. We missed the Michelin star restaurant but the other restaurant on the sixth floor was also very good. Very spacious rooms with good views of the harbor we would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat."

"Great location, 20 min drive Southampton and from New Forest for walks. Lovely old pub, beautifully clean and welcoming. We ate in the garden and enjoyed our Caesar salad and burgers. Accommodation is in separate thatched building to one side of the pub and was quiet. Twin room (2 single beds) was huge with large walk-in shower. Breakfast cooked to order plus cereals, pastries etc on buffet. Coffee brought to our table. Staff all friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Only slight negative was...

"I stayed 1 night at the lodge Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and nice room. I was booked by Expedia. The only disadvantage with the lodge you are not allowcyo use the solent swimming pool."

"The room wasn't as clean as expected. The electric outlets didn't work. Someone came rapidly to fix it. At the restaurant, the server didn't bring us water like the others neither come back to see how we were doing. It is a good quality price. Even with those inconvénients, we would go back for a short journey. One or two days."

We didn't have breakfast, but will next time. Car parking excellent. "Reception staff were very welcoming, room was very clean, and breakfast was very nice. I didn't like the attitude of the women in the spa section, felt like they were talking down to me had a lot of ego and arrogance, not sure if it was a colour thing. "

"No air conditioning but there was a dyson fan and a heater. Room had a coffee machine, mini fridge, hairdryer and a handheld steamer. We stayed in a room overlooking the harbour and it was very quiet. You couldn't hear any noise from the pub next door. Room was modern and very clean. The bed was huge (king) and very comfortable. There were places nearby to get breakfast and is very close to a Sainsbury and M&S food (Apr26)."

"Classic English accommodations. An updated old Inn, I'll guess 1700s, complete with neighborhood pub on ground floor. Ceilings are still low, hit my head, but learned quickly. I got room 3, a little noisy from staff congregation outside, get a diff one yourself. Old timey pull chain on toilet , hilarious.
