The start was not good, however, as upon entering the room, I found that it had not been serviced. "Difficult to get excited about an Ibis. You get what you paid for, which wasn’t a lot. Check in was super quick. Room was super small but allowed for a good nights sleep. Everything was nice & clean. Likely the atmosphere & decor in the cafe bar area but breakfast wasn’t very good at all. Not for the price anyway. Location was spot on for one night out in Sheffield. As long as it was cheap, I’d stay there again. "

"Pros: parking and good central location. Well priced. Cons: tired and dated rooms. Too warm despite turning the thermostat right down. Helped by opening window but loud road noise so not ideal. No bottled water in the room. Got phoned by reception at 7.15 am to come to our room to access the safe and retrieve the passports of previous guests! Not the wake up call I wanted on what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. Staff member was lovely and very apologetic and offered us free breakfast....

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of.
