"The hotel is old but very clean, with nice staff. The area is a regular downtown, big city area, so not very touristy but fine otherwise. There are several cafes/bakeries around to buy a cheap breakfast plus a tasty gyro place very close by. Subway is one block away as well, but it's walkable to the Parthenon (30 min)"

"Room was nice, it was our second time staying here. Breakfast was very good as well. The bar down the street plays really loud music from about 10 PM to about 4 AM, but with the AC/heater going, the music is not noticeable. We will be staying there again as it is close to the cruise/ferry port and the metro terminal, lots of shopping and food/drink opportunities."

"I usually stay by the Acropolis in Athens but wanted a peaceful, quiet Christmas stay and was given room 103 as was upgraded free in the true spirit of Christmas . The male receptionist is extremely friendly and his English language is excellent. I was given a large comfortable room to relax inside and breakfast was even served on Christmas and Boxing Day, the boiled eggs weee yummy and plenty of cereals and cheese to cater for my pescatarian diet . "We upgraded our room before we arrived and the room we had was beautiful with a large balcony and views of the Acropolis. The pool is fantastic and we booked our private hour every day of our stay. The included breakfast in the cafe across the street was very good offering a good range of brunch options including several which suited my dairy intolerance. There were around 7 or 8 good choices on the included menu and you could pay extra for additional options, which were also very good. The...
