"Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...

"Arrived to a bank of motorbikes which was a bit intimidating but after that (they left after 5 mins) everything was A1👌 Good sunday roast; room tastefully decorated; shower was great but best of all was the quality mattress and feather pillows - slept easily which is unusual for me in hotels. Lovely ambience throughout the hotel too. Stylish & excellent stay for the price point. Would def go back. "
"Great place to stay a short journey from Carlisle. Our second stay here. Room was fine, bed was comfy, shower was excellent and amenities like a Nespresso machine with pods were good touches. We also enjoyed a nice dinner in the pub."
